Did that many or any residents come to a council meeting and complain that they could not use the park due to large events? More residents support renting the park for the $90,000 a year in revenue it generates to offset costs.

Decembers vote 3-2 vote banning events was to set the stage for putting the county library in the park.

Building a county library in the park will probably monopolize parking more so than a wedding.
