M-A boys' basketball looking for a new head coach

Senque Carey was a top national recruit as a player out of St. Francis High and was regarded as one of the nation's best assistant basketball coaches while at Fresno State. The East Palo Alto native, however, struggled as the boys' head coach at Menlo-Atherton High and now is looking for a new job.

Every team sends a representative to the CCS playoff planning meeting in order to get a spot in CcS. Coach didn't go because he had a prior engagement so the spot was forfeited. It wasn't because the team wasn't good enough. If you're a head basketball coach you need to be on top of everything. One coach everybody liked was coach Phil white. That guy texted the players with updates from the CCS meeting. He was on top of his game.
