The location provided is vague at best. Is this the street that links West Selby Lane and Woodside road? Why the murky reporting?

Paul -- how is that vague?? It happened in the 300 block of San Carlos that runs between West Selby and Woodside Rd. How could the location description be any more clear??

Must've gone through the public school system.

What does that have to do with anything, Srini? You didn't have a good public school system where ever it is you grew up? Cannot be said for this area unless you consider yourself a narrow-minded elitist.

This is troubling. I drive that block almost daily. I do notice, at night, there is often a group of young adults/teenagers out at the intersection of W. Selby Lane & San Carlos Ave. They usually hang out on the W. Selby Lane section of the intersection between several parked cars (even if it is very cold outside).

Was the gun recovered at the scene? Was there any evidence of forced entry?

The shooting victim "pounded" on the door of a house in Redwood City unincorporated area on San Carlos Avenue, but perhaps the actual SHOOTING did not occur there. Read the story slowly to see the facts. No "break in" occurred of the house. A man was shot, perhaps aways away, then pounded on a door of a house for help. That's all. No one reported hearing shots. Just a man sought help from a house on the 300 block of San Carlos Avenue in unincorporated Redwood City.
Now as to the teens or young people hanging out on West Selby at San Carlos Avenue that house there on West Selby on that corner has NO front entrance or door, but lots of shrubbery, weeds, cars (some with no wheels) and suspicious people hanging out wearing black clothing (Goth style) coming and going whenever I turn that corner to head towards Woodside Road on West Selby and San Carlos Avenue. Been that way for 8 years now. I heard that the house had no "adults" living there but just a bunch of over 18 year old people doing "whatever" and looking creepy. That's all I know from speaking with a SM Sheriff once. Sheriff had no cause to enter the premises till now.

Thanks Joyce. The point being the location is unincorporated Redwood City. Try sending a letter to that address with Unincorporated San Mateo County as the city...doesn't work.
To Srini...do some homework...The unibomber was a product of Harvard.

Hey Paul. Unibomber was not stupid, and I'll bet he was not a product of our public schools. You, on the other hand, could not properly interpret a very short, clearly written sentence, then blamed the writer for your own inability to do so.

Srini, can't you compose a grammatically correct sentence?

Hmmm.......I believe that should read "Can you not compose a grammatically correct sentence?"
