Around Town: A day for horses in Woodside

Woodside's annual celebration of the town's love affair with all things equine is set for Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at and around Woodside Town Hall.

Among the local designers and businesses creating holiday tables are: A Bed of Flowers, Cheeky Monkey, Kelley Interiors, Leslie Rehlaender Design, Quintessence, and the Dressed Room, Menlo Park; Andi Maillinckrodt Events & Floral Design, Woodside; Carol Whitfield, Atherton; Neiman Marcus and Williams Sonoma Home, Stanford Shopping Center.

Tickets are $85 per person. For tickets, or to request an invitation, call Maria Chavez, Family Service at 403-4300, ext. 4401, or go to www.foothillaux.org.
