Facebook comment period extended one week

Vowing to keep the Facebook project on schedule, the Menlo Park City Council at its Jan. 10 meeting answered requests to extend the time allowed for public comment on the project's environmental report by as much as six weeks with an extension of only one week, to Jan. 30.

Menlo has NOT been a good neighbor on this & the council member's lie is obvious.

The west campus won't be built for a while. Facebook just wants to bank approvals. The council hasn't figure out how to determine public benefit. What is the rush?
