'But because he receives retirement benefits from the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS), Mr. Danielson is legally prohibited from working for a single employer for more than one year and even during that year, the permitted number of work hours is limited.'

Almost correct....Mr. Danielson is prohibited from working for ANOTHER Cal Pers Employer. He can work as long and as much as he likes in the private sector

If the town has a deficit of $856,000.00 why is the council by a 3-2 vote (McKeithen, Dobbie, Widmer) not allowing staff to rent the park for $5,000.00 per night for weddings? $80,000 a year is a good start to reducing the deficit.
