The Vikings were the PeeWee game of the day at the Pop Warner Super Bowl - on ESPN3, 17 cameras, microphones everywhere.

Tied up, ready to go into overtime with all the momentum on Menlo's side.... what a heartbreaker.

Still, one of the top 8 PeeWee teams in the country, on ESPN, at the SuperBowl of youth football, playing at ESPN's Wide World of Sports complex at DisneyWorld - what a fantastic venue... what a great season.

The best youth football on the mid-peninsula is in Menlo Park and RC. Next season, they take on the best of the best in the Bay Area to see who competes on the national stage.

Pop Warner on the peninsula is stronger, better coached and more fun than any of the other leagues.

Add a couple more players, and they go back to the SuperBowl next year.

Congratulations Vikings - great season! You all deserved the once in a lifetime experience you're having this week back in Florida.

Menlo Atherton Vikings one of only a couple of the 75+ teams from across the country here to be invited to line the red carpet welcome area for the nation's top athletes at ESPN's College Football Awards tonight.
