Good luck to Ray Lockett's RWC Jr PeeWee 49er team! They defeated an previously undefeated MA Viking JPW team in the Peninsula Championships.

Good luck to the MA Viking PeeWee team, coached by Steve Stenstrom. They defeated the RWC PeeWee team, also in the Peninsula Championships.

In a division that stretches from Salinas to Pacifica, in a conference of 32 clubs, we have the local powerhouses right here in our backyard.

How cool is that? Youth football at it's finest right here today!

Good luck, boys!

Both win, both fly to Florida this week to compete to be national champions for their age group.

RWC JPW's win handily.

Menlo Atherton Vikings PeeWee's beat Washington's Cowlitz Colts 20-6 to move to the national stage.

Incredible season for both local powerhouses!

Ray Lockett and the entire RC organization are class acts, very proud to have played several years in the program for some highly successful teams, although I never continued with football in high school, I did play baseball, and will be playing in college. This program taught me much more than just playing football, it was about discipline, respect, and just having fun.

Go 49ers!

RC and Menlo Atherton play at the national level this week.

MA Vikings play College Station Texas Saturday.

Go Vikings!
