Volunteers build playground in one day

Volunteers from Adobe, KaBOOM!, SAP America Inc. and the Ravenswood City School District, as well as residents of Menlo Park, finish building a new playground at Willow Oaks School on Oct. 19. The playground was built in a day. Willow Oaks, part of the Ravenswood City School District, is at 620 Willow Road in Menlo Park. ==I Almanac photo by Michelle Le.==

Wonder show of work. Many schools need volunteers to simply read to children, especially the K and 1st graders. Selby Lane in Atherton is one always seeking help. If your company or school needs volunteer hours, that is a great place to start. More info @ selbylanepta@ymail.com
