Any California resident who either respects the right to keep and bear arms or believes in equal rights for all, believes that just because you are wealthy, well connected or a "celebrity" does not mean you should get special rights not given to all, or are interested in taking responsibility for the safety of yourself and your loved ones should be OUTRAGED by the adoption of this law and should commit to run anyone who wrote it, voted for it or signed it out of office. It doesn't matter whether you are pro or anti gun; the fact is, as the article reports, "....the law does not apply to people authorized to carry LOADEd weapons in public". In other words, the Diane Fienstiens, Jerry Browns, rock star a,b&c, rapper x,y,z of the world! And for the Police Officer's association to say that people carrying UNLOADED fire arms is more of a threat than people with money or influence carrying LOADED concealed weapons is rediculous. Just look at 2 of our 3 neighboring states, Arizona and Nevada and compare gun laws; then look at comparative crime statistics.
