Did PG&E mislead the public regarding the ClimateSmart Program?

The Menlo Park CIty Council already threw away $15,000 of our taxpayer money on this "feel good" liberal scheme to assuage their guilt about not doing enough to save the planet. These ingenuous public servants actually believe the PG&E propaganda. PT Barnum had a word for those council members who were duped by PG&E to make donations of our tax dollars to ClimateSmart.
But the question remains is did PG&E hoodwink the public as well as our perspicacious council members? PG&E has some lawyers on its staff who are determined to cajole the public into voluntarily underwriting their goal of producing more green energy. But are they being forthcoming in their slick sales pitch or are they resorting to obfuscation? You decide. For more details on the ClimateSmart charade please read this link below.
