Who in Atherton didn't want the lights. Does anyone know the names and addresses?

It's all public record, available from the Town Council records, minutes, etc...

If memory serves, it was spearheaded by the Lindenwood Home Owners Association, or whatever they call them selves. They sued over the PAC and lost, costing the Town a bundle. Another school related lawsuit too.

They're the ones that sue over everything, like the urns, etc..

Do a search.

Buy a house, launch a lawsuit.

Um, if I remember correctly, the Sequoia Union High School District put up lights without the proper permitting - and they even admitted it.

When the neighbors were given a chance to have input - which is not only their legal right, but the intent of the approval process - a compromise was reached and the lighting was limited to certain days and hours.

The school didn't get everything they wanted and neither did the neighbors - but they each found the arrangement acceptable.

For people to now try to single out people who pushed back when the legal permitting process was ignored by their local school board is disgusting. Move on and get a life.

Better yet, move on and go to a football game.

Under the lights!

Well done, Sequoia UHSD, MA and Atherton. Friday Night Lights is a great time out.
