Letter: Stop high-speed rail

Lynn Schenk, vice chairman of the High-Speed Rail Authority board, admitted recently that the authority's previous business plans were really nothing more than sales tools.

Due to the State's complicity in fraud in the inducement, HSR should be put on the 2012 ballot with truthful information to give the voters a chance to vote on a ballot measure containing truthful information.

NOW IT IS A QUESTION OF JUST ACTING AS IF PEOPLE ACTUALLY PREVENTED A LOCAL CATASTROPHE.
DEARIES...........THE COUNTRY IS DEAD BROKE.
NONE OF YOU PROTECTED WHAT MAY BE SOON A COMMUNITY WITHOUT WATER AND NATURAL DISASTERS.
THE MAIN GOAL OF THIS GOVT. IS TO HAVE HSR AND I AM SO GLAD BECAUSE I KNOW IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN..........THANKS TO A DEAL WHICH HAS BEEN ON THE FIRE SINCE THEY FOUND OUT WE CANNOT DO THINGS LIKE FIX BRIDGES BY OURSELVES.
