Menlo Park commission examines downtown plan sans fiscal impact analysis

When the Menlo Park Planning Commission commenced its multi-session review of the proposed downtown/El Camino Real specific plan on July 11, it quickly pointed out there wasn't quite enough paper on the dais.

Most properties downtown and along El Camino are not built to the maximum possible today. There is great square footage available to many right now. Also there are approved projects on El Camino. The current zoning is not the problem. How about the economy????
