Atherton layoffs delayed at last minute

A judge temporarily stopped Atherton from laying off six city employees at the last minute on Friday, July 15, after hearing arguments in a lawsuit filed in San Mateo Superior Court by union representatives.

Wake up the gravy train is over for those who have never paid a penny into their pension and can't wait to double dip after 20 years. Good riddance!

These people are working hard for $60,000 a year, and Mike as an Atherton resident making what, somewhere between five and fifty times that, thinks they're chiseling.
