Transportation commission scrutinizes downtown plan's environmental impact report

Is there actually less traffic in Menlo Park now than a decade ago? When the city released the draft environmental impact report (EIR) for a ision of the downtown and El Camino Real corridors, it was a milestone for a plan that's been years in the making. Now that the scrutiny has begun, it didn't take long to identify a glitch.

Actually, the Menlo Park's population grew roughly 4% to 7% from 1995-2009. The population grew roughly 10% to 14% from 1995 to present.
