I don't understand why you didn't mention PV resident Chris Waschura who WON both the 800 and 1600 meter races. It is the first time that it has ever been done by a Junior! Is there a systematic bias against Woodside High School in this paper?? Way to go, Chris!

Susan,
I emailed Almanac Editor first thing this morning due to this "oversight", have not heard anything back, and the article has not been updated.

Awesome job Chris!

I agree ... one of the finest middle distance runners in the country and not even a mention. Pathetic!

Rick Eymer covered the meet for Palo Alto Online Sports (associated with our sister paper, the Palo Alto Weekly), and, unfortunately, they don't cover Woodside. I posted an interim story: Web Link
