Are we all supposed to be waiting with baited breath?
NOTHING is going to happen with HSR until China decides to build it and they will have everything to say if and when that day comes.
Till then, I doubt if it is of any real importance to add, at this point, there will be no HSR plans being set forth and will be put on hold....or something like that.
For this, we pay a lot of people a lot of money in salaries, bonuses and perks, when it could be figure out by even a Supervisor.
California is broke.
verified someone is nervous and it is not moi.

I like how the announcement touts that plenty parking is available in Caltrain's lot and other MP parking plazas... Not exactly the sign of a vibrant downtown! Just watch out for the tumbleweeds.

The joint announcement from Senator Simitian, Rep. Anna Eshoo and Assemblyman Rich Gordon can be viewed on YouTube at:

( 5 minutes -- Senator Simitian's portion only)

They are calling for no Aerials and that HSR must stay within the existing corridor of the CalTrain Right of Way.

Are the three of them going to recite of sing it at once?
Now, that would be exciting news.
What is Caltrain? My chauffeur don't know.
