Supervisors voting on raises for deputy sheriffs.

Original post made by Michael G. Stogner, another community, on Apr 12, 2011

Today the vote on raises.
The average pay for a San Mateo County deputy sheriff was $130,321 as of 2010.
The deputies have agreed to forgo the the 3% more guarantee. That was a built in raise for them to make sure that they received 3% more than the next highest deputies.

I hope Supervisor Don Horsley recused himself from this vote.
