Portola Valley: Mountain lion spotted Monday night

A resident of Portola Valley spotted a mountain lion heading toward Portola Green Circle in the Brookside Park neighborhood at about 9:25 p.m. Monday (April 11), according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

LEAVE THE MOUNTAIN LIONS ALONE. NO MORE KILLING OF OUR WILD LIFE.
THE REDWOOD CITY KILLING WAS JUST A TESTIMONY THAT THESE GUYS ARE WIMPS AND UNTRAINED WITH ANIMALS. IT DID NOT NEED TO BE KILLED. i mean come on six against one loaded with dart guns!

Too bad some people are simply obtuse with regard to predators. Tranq's take time to take effect and medicated animals are unpredictable and more dangerous. It will only be a matter to time until a child is taken by the cats that can not be re-located.
