Friday: Workshop on keeping wildfires at bay

A free daylong "firewise" workshop for anyone living in the Woodside Fire Protection District is set for Friday, March 25, in Independence Hall at the corner of Whiskey Hill and Woodside roads in Woodside. Call 851-1594 to reserve one of the 50 available seats.

A free class to learn about how to prepare and protect your home and property from wildfire. Space still available. It may be a rainy week, but that means more vegetation in the spring -- and more fuel to burn by late summer. Get yourself to this class, residents of the Woodside Fire Protection District!
