Tornado warning expires; no damage reported

A tornado warning for San Mateo County issued by the National Weather Service expired at 11:30 a.m. with no report of damage, a meteorologist with the weather service said late this morning.

I received a SMC Non Emergency Alert when the warning expired but not when it began. Same thing happened with the tsunami warning a week ago. Did anyone receive a SMC Alert when the tornado or the tsunami threat began?
