As long as the Mt. Lions are killing the multitude of deer in Portola Valley and Woodside there is no need to be concerned. It is the large number of deer in the area that are bring these lions closer to our neighborhoods. With no hunting of Bambi, the deer have become over populated and these Mt. Lions are culling the sick and the weak.
If the attitude of the previous commenter was taken seriously we would have to have a hunting season on humans. Man is the top predator and is to be feared more than a cat that just wants to be left alone.

what's wrong with a human hunting season? We could have great cat and deer bbqs events as well.
