Mountain lion spotted in Woodside.

A mountain lion was spotted this morning in the hills above Interstate 280 in San Mateo County, emergency officials said.

"..avoid hiking or jogging at dawn, dusk and night, when the animals are most active." So, what do people live in those areas for? To enjoy nature. But not now. Gotta let the kitty cats be able to roam around. One day someone will get killed or mauled badly. It has to happen. Then what? Stay in our cars?

Yes we have lions. Why is the media CONSTANTLY 'reporting' this fact every time someone sees a house cat?
