Sandy...You might want to do some more research on this story. The vast majority of this 30 pounds of poison will not get into the food chain. I will get into the sewer system. The City discharges thousands of gallons of leachate from Bayfront Park. The discharge of poisonous materials to the sewer system is illegal. Can the sewer treatment plant extract this poison before it reaches the waters of the State?

Deputy City Manager Kent Steffens defends the poisonings by saying that the City inspectors had documented in their report that the squirrels were digging through the landfill cap and dragging up trash. There was no such documentation found in the reports

So why did Animal Damage Management Inc., end up getting the unnecessary contract?
