Three people fall victim to con artists

Officials in San Mateo are warning residents to beware of telephone scammers who have recently conned elderly victims into wiring money abroad under false pretenses, police said.

The fastest growing segment of Facebook users is middle aged people and older. Very easy to compile personal information from your Facebook profile since Facebook forces you to make certain information public, including your real name.
