Los Trancos Creek not damaged by spill near Alpine Road and I-280, official says

A milky white substance discovered Tuesday night in Los Trancos Creek near the intersection of Alpine Road and Interstate 280 apparently did no damage, a hazardous materials official said.

Good on West Bay for the clean up. And the knucklehead who dumped the material into the drain should have been reported and cited. Quite possible a contractor doing work locally dumped this before getting on 280. If anyone see's an act like this occuring they need to call and report it.

I'm glad we have come so far as to look at these incidents as "WRONG". Years ago, we would not even have bothered to think about such things... But years ago we also had much more polluted streams and bays!!!
