Changing the locks is a great idea, but if you don't lock the locks, it doesn't make any difference how many times you change them, you still need to lock the locks

And if someone happens to have surreptitiously acquired a key to those locks, that too can be a case in which locking the doors at the end of the day won't make any difference.
