High-speed rail delay may benefit Peninsula

Local high-speed rail watchdogs think recent announcements by the rail authority will give Peninsula residents more time to evaluate the design options for the segment running through their own cities.

It's nice to see that Schmidt hasn't lost his citizen-be-damned attitude as long as it meets "his" over-zealous HSR philosophy.
Why waste any money on a project which will be obsolete when Google announces its new NEI(no-environmental-impact) teleportation system plans next year. What did you think all that mapping and street-view work was for.
