In this depressed economy, surely there is some entity willing to undercut the outrageous prices for our garbage service ... step forward! Dump the unions, demand better service for a fair price. The garbage business is such a racket.

I am surprised at the lack of response to this story. The creation of the SBWMA was, and will apparently continue to be, a massive "boondoggle". It is a governmental agency, created by government employees making decisions on which elected officials are not permitted to vote directly.

I share Interested's surprise at the lack of response to this story - when are the taxpayers going to say "STOP" and start demanding accountability from their elected officials?
