Schools hit by Lehman losses file claim

Twelve area school districts have taken the first official step toward filing a lawsuit against San Mateo County and its treasurer over the loss of about $20 million invested in Lehman Brothers securities.

It should be "loses" in your headline, not "looses."

Spellcheck, you need to read the headline more carefully. The word it uses is "losses," not "looses." The headline accurately conveys that schools that suffered losses in the Lehman collapse are considering suing.
