Atherton Pays Highest Increase In Garbage Rates

Why is it that Atherton is paying a 38.9& increase in garabage rates? Our neighboring communities, Redwood City and Menlo Park are paying only 16.3% and 9.4% respectively. Our City Council said they negotiated a great deal for us, does anyone else consider this a good deal? I though changing companies was going to be a benefit. The only benefit appears to be the increased fees going to the provider. I was told by the new compnay I had to pay for every green bin over two but at the Council meeting they said no additional fee for additional green bins. We need some straigh answers on this...
