Meg Whitman for Atherton City Council

Original post made by Clear Thinker, another community, on Oct 14, 2010

Dear Voters

I strongly encourage you to write in Meg Whitman for Atherton City Council while voting for her opponent for Governor.

Think about it for a moment. Ms. Whitman is campaigning for the highest office in the State, while the city she lives in is arguably the most dysfunctional town government in America.

Sent a message to Whitman. "Get your own town in order before you try and take on the State".

Actually --if she wins the state maybe she could finally get the AG in here......
The two jobs may be comparable -if she is still available after Nov 4th let's hire her to come back and manage her home town for us.

I'm not sure we want Queen Meg in city hall if we want to avoid more lawsuits. Didn't she have to settle out of court when an employee sued her for abusive conduct? And how much has Atherton spent so far in the last 12 months on settling lawsuits brought by employees.

Atherton's attempt at civil governance has been a complete failure.
Maybe a monarchy is worth a try.

If Meg ran for council, would she bother to vote?

I like that post on another thread about the bumpersticker:

"another non-voter for Meg"

On Carly's car.
