City Manager Selection?

I read somewhere weeks ago that there would be a Special Council Meeting to appoint some one to fill in for Gruber on Saturday Oct 18th. There is nothing about this on the Atherton town web-site, and there has been no further mention of this in the press. Could the Almanac please look into this and inform the Public.
