Little by little, all of the gullible people who were mesmerized by the lies and distortion of the HSR proponents have come out of the ether. Please keep this exercise in mind next time some snake oil salesman puts stars in your eyes, and leads you to believe that there is a Santa Claus. HSR was never a good idea, never would be affordable, could not possibly be self-sustaining, will never get the ridership sold in their bill of goods, and would do nothing but destroy neighborhoods. Vote with your clear thinking minds for some of these propositions, most of which are useless garbage. It will be cheaper and easier to vote against these things in the first place, rather than try to reverse them after the fact.

That's Better -- Very well said. I voted NO the first time around. I smelled the boondoggle.

HSR will not happen. Even withouot lawsuits it will collapse under teh weight of its own bogus numbers. They can't fund what they want to start now and they won't be able to fund the rest. Progress for progress sake is stupid.

R. Gordon--California has no money, either. But we do have a choice, and that is to scrap this stupid idea. It is not progress, rather it is the road to bankruptcy.

Nobody even wonders why our Prez. is making so many trips to this area.
Tracks will be near a lot of mansions when we put Americans...not Chinese or Blacks or Illegal Immigrants (You can see on 60 MINUTES why hundreds of crops are rotting since everyone voted illegals to do the work).......Now, a tomato will cost up to $3.00 each and the ladies in the print dresses will not be growing their own victory garderns....and their spouses will be too busy trying to recoup their losses while wanting to make up losses and paying more taxes.
You may still have money, but GREED is a hard thing to give up..."as in I am down to my last billion" type of thinking that brought the country down.Bernie Madoff is now naming investment groups and even people for whom he made billions.......BEWARE.....even if you only made millions. All of you who thought Obama was house hunting in Woodside, are in for a surprise.
