Dentist rides, raises money for benefit

Menlo Park dentist and cyclist Jan Gabus recently rode his bicycle across Iowa for seven days and 461 miles, raising $9,000 from sponsors for the Mid Peninsula Dental Health Foundation, which provides low-cost dental care for the uninsured working poor.

Congratulations Jan! RAGBRAI is a pretty cool event based on what I've read so I hope that you had a good time as well.

So where are all the comments stereotyping *all* cyclists as reckless law-breakers?
