Judge won't reopen high-speed-rail challenge

The case challenging high-speed rail studies and route selection has been finalized by Sacramento Superior Court Judge Michael Kenny despite a last-ditch effort by a coalition of challengers to get it reopened.

What a waste of time and money all this is just for an elitist group of Peninsula towns.
There can never be, even with the great pockets of wealth stashed here made both legally, or otherwise, a way to prevent what ultimately is going to turn into a major problem in the horrendous amount of spending which is going to be required for our highways and bridges alone.
Electric cars are environmental but they still have tires.The recovery of our auto industry more than likely is not going to occur, but if it does, we still have not faced up to reality.
