"interesing" whee did you get what you have printed as "Bernstein platform"?

I have read his statement which has been released and I don't find any of that in his statement.

So please give send along the document from which you post these statements.

BTW, I'm not running for Council, but I'm sure you would make the same allegations about me.

And yes, I am endorsing Mr. Bernstein as a candidate for council.

Maybe Bernstein could be the fire cracker the council needs to get its act together ! He was very vocal during the bohannon debacle and yes he tends to veto everything as well ! sometimes no, isn't always bad, as long as it's balanced with yes votes. it will be intersting to hear Peter C's take on his candidacy, at lease he isn't running for the fire board this time.

A Chuck Bernstein candidacy is about the most comedic scenario we could have imagined. What, Don Brawner and Elias Blawie weren't available? If you want to see what Chuck's all about, flip through the Council's online video links to catch one of his many red-faced rants during open comment.

The "old gang of seven" has been really off its game with the Bohannon opposition completely backfiring. Chuck being the standard-bearer is just another sign of that old, out-of-touch coalition falling apart.

If Mike Brady is against HSR then he should not be elected.

Can someone give us a list of the law suits and appeals that Brady has filed against developers trying to get a project built in the city? High Speed Rail is only one of his targets.

Brady and Bernstein are the extreme "no" activists in Menlo Park. Bernstein's negativity goes back years.

It's very odd that his wife works as a consultant to developers, helping them get approvals from city councils and working with neighborhoods to ease their concerns and get the project built.

Menlo Park is on strange town.

Both Mike and Chuck have shown that they are people who can get the job done. And they have done so repeatedly on behalf of the city. We are fortunate that they are running.

The most fortunate will be the incumbents and anyone else who can brand herself or himself as a moderate to be contrasted with this pair.
Look for a third no-no candidate to round out the slate.

Hello "voter"
If you know that they get the job done perhaps you could give us a list of which jobs they have gotten done. And while you're at it perhaps another list of the jobs they were trying to get undone would be revealing.
Maybe delaying and trying to defeat projects is getting the job done in your opinion?

I've never know of one positive thing either Bernstein or Brady have ever done. Their campaign literature will be fun to read. Blocking, opposing, killing, trashing, and filing legal action are their strong suits.

They know how to cause a whole lot of pain for people.

Their running will guarantee victories for the incumbents and they're a weak team who don't have much to brag about also.

How can anyone say one single bad word about Mike Brady?

He's a fine, upstanding young man who dealt with the unfortunate loss of his wife by actually becoming a stepfather to three All-American girls to go along with his three All-American boys. He has a prestigious job as an architect, owns his own home, is a loving husband and supports the economy by employing a full-time nanny who is a legal US citizen. He was even named "Father of the Year" by a local newspaper (The Almanac I guess) after his stepdaughter Marcia submitted an essay.

Anyone who DOESN'T vote for Mike this November must be against baseball and apple pie as well!
