My friend and my dog had a Mountain Lion charge them on Saturday July 18th on the backside of lower Emerald Lake. It WAS reported to the sheriffs dept. Not sure why this is not in the news at all.
We were told not to walk in early mornings or dusk or at night time.
People in the area should know that is actually charged at my friend and dog. He had his eyes on our dog the whole time he was running towards them. My friend put our dog behind his legs and was yelling and whipping the leash around. The Mt. lion vered off about 6-7 ft from them and ran into a neighbors yard.

SO do NOT walk alone or at night or dusk in the area!!
