A number of us residents in Redwood City have discussed Ms. Foust's role in helping push forward the conduct of an EIR for Cargill/DMB Associates proposed development. It is quite clear to us that she definitely has a conflict of interest, and we questioned why she didn't recuse herself when the vote was taken to hire the consultant to do the EIR. It's also hard to believe how our City attorney did not properly advise her. Therefore, we appreciate Menlo Park Councilmember Cohen's issuing the complaint on us residents' behalf.
