Police to conduct DUI checkpoint Friday

The Redwood City Police Department will conduct a DUI checkpoint Friday (July 2) in an effort to keep drunken drivers off the roads.

PD is so stupid, why would anyone tell the drunk public where check point are ?? You just told people to not to drive on that street !
How dumb is that !! Set them up, keep your mouth shut and do not tell the press & take more people off the street !! How difficult is that game plan.. If no one drives through that area, I will wonder why !!

they are required to announce the location. It usually doesn't matter. They get plenty of them coming through anyway.

"Mad", your anger is misplaced. You need to write the legislature, as the cops are following the law. The California Supreme Court mandates advertising.
