Christopher Hitchens cancels Kepler's talk

Author Christopher Hitchens has canceled a talk he planned to give at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 27, at Kepler's bookstore in Menlo Park, Kepler's has announced.

I wouldn't be surprised why Hitchens pulled out of this engagement being he probably discovered that he would be jeered for his Atheism and his incredibly sarcastic wit.
It was the highlight to see him discuss his new book which is, a bit more personal, thus rejected by mostly home reviewers.
The fact that most young people today believe in how he thinks, they are not the types to take vacation time to go to lectures or book signings.
Had he accepted, I would wager that many people would not attend out of obstinance to hearing his provocative non Christian thinking.

Sorry to hear about Hitchen's diagnosis of cancer, but it is treatable, and if I know his thinking, I think he would have loved to debate the narrow thinking which is so predominate in this area in regards to religion.....Money is god here.
