Believe me Heyward & Rich hold the same sentiments as Andy & Kelly but don't want to be painted as left wing extremists with the upcoming election cycle. Their pusillanimous actions last night demonstrate that they are just too afraid to make tough decisions. They would rather shore up their voter base than do the people's work. John Boyle, again, as usual, was the only council member to step up to the plate. The other four are just taking up space on the dais that would be better occupied by people who actually care about Menlo Park.

This city council is by far the most dysfunctional one I have seen in the 21 years I have lived in Menlo Park. It is a true embarassment to our City.
