No fireworks at Redwood City Fourth

The annual Fourth of July parade and festival in Redwood City will not include a fireworks show this year for the first time in more than a decade, an event coordinator said.

How about we fire some overpriced public sector parasites and continue to put on the fireworks display?

This is a big shame. Surely someone could have done without a bonus or raise somewhere in the local government.

They should have skipped the parade and brought the fireworks because it will suck without fireworks.
