Elections 2010: Assembly candidate Yoriko Kishimoto is living the dream

Original post made on May 5, 2010

" She recalls that when she joined the City Council, the body was also dysfunctional and polarized. She takes some credit for the growing spirit of cooperation and cites herself and former Mayor Bern Beecham as the two council members who were willing to cross the proverbial aisle and build constructive relationships."

What a load of garbage!

Yoriko the lightweight was nothing if not polarizing, with her "no growth" NIMBY stances and lack of understanding of local politics. If she was such an effective leader and built constructive relationships, then we should take a look at all of her former colleagues who have chosen to endorse her...oh wait, where are they? The ones who are most highly respected and have real track records of achievement (former mayor Judy Kleinberg, for example) are endorsing Yoriko's competitor, Josh Becker.

Thank goodness we have someone of real experience and leadership running for this seat and won't be subjected to Yoriko's headline-hogging nonsense much longer.
