This iconic photo of "Nipper" was used by Atherton resident Leon Douglass as the registered trademark of the Victor Talking Machine Company, which he and his partner founded around the turn of the last century. The trademark was sold to RCA Victor in 1927. Photo courtesy, Atherton Heritage Association.

Such a great classic photo! Nipper was a pit bull, by the way, back in the day when they were considered an excellent family pet.

Why does this take priority over news? Both local and elsewhere?
Also, why have so many questions been removed along with the topics?
