Activist group targets Searsville Dam

Saying the time is now to get Stanford University to commit to removing Searsville Dam, a group of local activists galvanized more than 200 people at a kickoff event on Tuesday evening.

"Any project wouldn't happen overnight. They estimate some current dam-removal projects will take 10 years or more to complete."
OK so Stanford has the money to make this right and to come out looking like they care about the environment. People need jobs now! Now is the time to act not 10 years from now.
