So, if I have this right, the City that just spent alot of time and resources considering limiting the size of lawn people could have as a way to save the planets water supply is now accepting a gift of trees which will need to be watered to survive. Hmmm?

And, years ago they took out the 3rd lane to "beautify the town" meanwhile we merchants are choked to death by the smog from the myriad of traffic creeping slowly through the Southern part of Menlo Park from Valparaiso to around Menlo Avenue as the lanes were narrowed from 3 to 2. What the heck was THAT all about? It has been a nightmare there for years. Now we get more TREES??? I guess when you join the Menlo Park political spectrum you automatically dumb down.

No no no! It's difficult enough to see jaywalkers dashing across ECR without trees in the median. It was a huge problem south of Middle when the dealerships were there, because of the trees. Too many pedestrians do not use use the crosswalks & it's very hard to see people jumping out of the medians. Some day there will be an injured jaywalker & it really won't be the motorist's fault.

I'd like the medians removed entirely so we could have another traffic lane. Buy the clock shop a parking space in the corner lot by the laundromat. Or buy it a space in the rear lot. This whole traffic mess is because MP has an ordinance requiring street parking in front of any business that doesn't have access to other parking.
