The Bohannon Development Co. has invested six years and $7.5 million into a development proposal for three office towers and a hotel totaling nearly 1 million square feet, employing 70 consultants in the process. We take a look inside that effort, and examine the misgivings some local people have about the scale of the operation.

Well written article, Sean. Captures the political complexity of the approval process with very little bias.

Tostas analogy of software hackers and development hackers is interesting.

Probably cost Bohannon's less to build the entire Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo in the 50s....
