That's it? How about some more info. Herbert Law and was a fascinating turn of the century San Francisco and Peninsula figure. He and his brother sold elixir to women at $100 a pop. Bought the SF Fairmont from the Fair sisters just before the 1906 quake. His daughter committed suicide when he told her to divorce the Stanford groundskeeper she had married against his wishes.

I thought I read the daughter was not married or maybe she was, but to a gas station guy. And that her ghost wonders that mansion or ruins.
